Have the opportunity to learn the craft of productions with sets, costumes, dance, and more. Students in this unique workshop will spend a week exploring the many facets of how a ballet makes its way to the stage, with three different ballets to choose from. Students will have daily ballet technique classes and learn how to create a performance, from the beginnings of an idea to its presentation on stage, including choreography, marketing, scenery, and production. The camp ends with a performance of the ballet, where the students exhibit all they have learned while creating the production. No dance experience needed. Students should bring a lunch or several snacks each day.
