
The Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy, the official school of Ballet West, is one of America’s premier source of classical ballet and performing arts training. Ballet West Academy is dedicated to developing and inspiring the whole child, both as an accomplished artist and a healthy individual, professionally and recreationally.

The Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy strives to be a dynamic leader in the international field of dance education. Drawing on our unique local dance heritage and utilizing our connections with our national and international dance communities, we will continue to expand our educational offerings in a state-of-the-art facility as we train and inspire the next generation of dancers. We intend to be a positive resource for local and regional dance schools, providing opportunities for constructive dialogues and collaborative support.
Along with our unique relationship with the professional company and artistic staff of Ballet West, we have a superior faculty who are dedicated to developing and inspiring the whole child, both as an accomplished dancer and a healthy individual.
The Janet Eccles Quinney Ballet Centre campus houses the uppermost levels of the academy including Levels 5-8 and the Professional Training Division. This campus accepts foreign students through the Student Exchange Visitor Program and is the location of the Ballet West Academy leadership offices. It boasts the largest training space in the region and is the anchor location for the Ballet West Academy Summer Intensive.

Trolley Corners
The Trolley Corners campus is the sister campus to the Janet Eccles Quinney Ballet Centre and serves the youngest students from Beginning classes to Level 4. This location is easily accessed in downtown Salt Lake.
The Peggy Bergmann Park City Campus provides access to the artform and organizational presence throughout Wasatch and Summit Counties with partnerships with local organizations that expand the diversity of our campus including Youth United. Students from beginners through Level 8 train in the studios. With a focus on specialty genres in addition to classical ballet, this campus offers expanded options in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.

Utah County
The Utah County Campus provides access to the artform and organizational presence throughout the region by extending the organization’s geographic reach and bringing the best of classical ballet to the area. Students from beginning levels to Level 8 train in the studios with a primary focus on classical ballet with supplemental offerings including Contemporary dance from a young age.
